We took Aidan in the barn for the first time today, he has been to the barn before but never inside. He's still a little rough and doesn't understand that the horses probably don't enjoy him slapping them, but they are so sweet and gentle with babies/children anyway. He really enjoyed it when the horses would eat the carrots out of my hand. Apparently that is hilarious!
We also took him on his first pony ride. He LOVED it, he squealed and laughed the whole time. Although, he still doesn't have the right muscles to sit up straight so he was all over the place. We had a great time. We were concerned that he wouldn't keep the helmet on, but he didn't really care. I guess there were too many things to look at.
