Father's Day

What a wonderful child you are, Aidan. And right now, I hear, you're teething and not so very happy. When you read this you won't be remembering what it felt like to have teeth coming up. But you will find them very useful! When you cousin, Kate, was born, she already had two little teeth, bottom center, but later on she had a pretty bad time, too, and kept her parents awake at night. I can tell from your photographs that you're noticing a lot of what goes on around you. When I saw you, you were still mostly asleep, though I did see a few wonderful giggles.
